Constructions.

Sometimes you need a new challenge and for me it is painting and gluing stuff together. The style is derivative of my two-dimensional work, but the added dimension of relief slides close to sculpture, plus the shadows provide an element that is somewhat unpredictable. These works are smaller, since working with wood on a larger scale would make the weight of the of the finished piece too heavy. The process is definitely slower than painting on canvas, less spontaneous, but it sure teaches patience!
